I connected a non-encrypted physical drive instead of a virtual drive by mistake. The drive disappeared. How can I get it back?
In case you try to connect any non-encrypted physical drive from folder physical drives, the Safetica will report an error because it did not find an encrypted partition and it will mark the drive as disconnected by default and it will disappear from your system. Do not panic, your data are still on the drive, the drive just was not allocated a unit number and is invisible.
Go to Control Panel – Administrative Tools – Computer Management – Disk Management, choose the given drive, right-click on it and choose “Change Drive Letter and Paths”, in the following window choose “Add…” and set the letter you want to use for the drive. After the setup, the drive should immediately appear in the system.
